How to find us

Our office is located on the Mevagissey Harbour – East Quay. We occupy the old public utilities building, which overlooks the main fishing harbour. You can often find parking right along the harbour wall (pay and display), with only a short walk to the East Quay. On arrival at the harbour parking area, head towards the east side of the quay, where you will find our offices. For Satnav follow for postcode: PL26 6QQ

Should parking on the harbour be full, use any of the Mevagissey main car parks and walk towards the main town and harbour. Keep left on arrival at the waterside and follow the edge of the harbour heading out to sea.

When to arrive

Whichever tour you have booked on, please consider arriving at least fifteen minutes ahead of your departure time. This will allow your guide to receive your registration and to prepare you and your party for your tour. We have pre-arranged time slots for leaving and entering the harbour and so your prompt arrival is essential to get the tour underway.

At the end of the tour, you will be asked to return all of the on-loan safety and paddle equipment before leaving the office.

What to expect

Kayaking from Mevagissey harbour

You can expect to  have a great safe time, paddling out from beside the harbour walls and along the coastline of Mevagissey. The tour will very much depend on the wind, tide and swell conditions on the day. After all, that is why we call ourselves guides. For a taster of what’s to come, view our photo gallery.

What we do want to do, is to give you a unique experience kayaking through a beautiful natural environment. As we paddle along one of Cornwall’s most famous and historic coastlines, we will find time to explain the local history of the area. We will also seek to identify the fauna and flora that we find along the way. There’s always something that’s different.

Safety-first

We will ensure that you are able to keep pace and help you stay steady along the way. No one will get left behind, whatever your ability.

Should you capsize, you can expect our guide to get you back onto your kayak promptly and without a fuss. Unfortunately we can’t promise to keep you dry.
